Vice Chairman, Highland Conservative and Unionist Association.
Reg is a Master Mariner who on leaving the sea became a ship’s pilot working in oil terminals in Libya, Iran and finally Qatar where he spent the last ten years there as Head of Marine for Qatar Petroleum. He has been coming “North” since the sixties to see his parents who came to live in Blairninich and so knows the area well.
On leaving Qatar in 1998 he and his wife Pat came to live in the Highlands and set up a successful independent marine consultancy working mostly in oil and gas terminals but also as an adjunct undertakes yacht and small craft surveys locally. Since coming to live here he has been active with the Conservatives in the Ross Skye and Lochaber constituency. He too was formerly the Chairman of the Conservative Highland Policy Forum, which he took a pro-active role in looking at all the issues that affect our day to day lives
