Highlands and Islands MSP Donald Cameron has said that communities across Argyll and Bute and the West Highlands are completely exasperated by the failure of Scottish Government ministers to get a grip on vital transport infrastructure projects.
Highlands and Islands MSP, Edward Mountain said: “The Scottish Government appears not to have thought about how to open up the Highlands safely. They have been completely incompetent when it comes to providing any kind of strategy.
Since lockdown restrictions started to be lifted it is of no surprise that many have chosen to visit the Highlands on their staycations. However, the influx of visitors and the poor behaviour of some are causing concerns.
Highlands and Islands MSP Donald Cameron has said that evidence of growing anti-English sentiment in Scotland is deeply worrying following the release of a poll showing that four in ten Scots do not want English tourists visiting Scotland without a period of isolation.
