Comment on SNP preparing draft bill on second independence referendum

Monday, 15 February, 2021

Highlands and Islands Scottish Conservative MSP Donald Cameron said: “People in Argyll and Bute will be wandering exactly what alternative universe the SNP are living in.

“They want their elected politicians to be focusing on sorting out the disastrous situation with the A83 – neglected by the SNP for 14 years – and supporting the efforts to roll out the vaccine programme to vulnerable people here."

“And after that, we need to get Argyll and Bute’s economy back on its feet and local people back into work. Instead of that, SNP Ministers seem to be spending their time working on an unwanted and divisive bill aimed at breaking up the United Kingdom."

“If the situation wasn’t so serious, this would be laughable.”
